The opportunity to support Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN)/Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) interoperability testing for a government testing organization.



Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support DRSN/VoSIP interoperability testing for a government testing organization

- Participate in test planning, test conduct, test reporting, and other duties as assigned. 

- Candidates should have an understanding of Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Cisco routers, gateways and switches.

- Must have a working knowledge of Networking to include: Promina Nodes (800, 400, 200)and cryptographic equipment such as the KIV-7M, KIV-19M, and Secure Telephone Equipment (STE).

- Recent military or civilian DRSN Program experience and knowledge of DRSN/VoSIP switching platforms and peripherals is desired as is testing experience and defense voice and data communications systems experience. 

- Should be knowledgeable in the operation of a variety of test measuring equipment, to include, but not limited to NeTracker, Prime Rate Protocol Analyzer, Sage Communications Test Set, and Data Channel Simulators. 

- Should be able to operate and maintain the following: DRSN Secure Digital Switch (SDS) Family, Digital Small Switch (DSS-1/2), and the Digital Small Switch Version 2A (DSS-2A). 

- A working knowledge of UNIX Solaris and Linux operating systems is also desired. 

- The successful candidate should have excellent writing skills and will be knowledgeable of and proficient with the use of office automation software applications including but not limited to MS Windows, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. 

- Experience with network security and information assurance is a plus.

As a member of the CND Network Event Analysis and Response Team, uses Security Information Management (SIM) tools to aggregate security events from multiple sources, including Internet Security System (ISS) Real Secure Sensors, Snort, Intruder Alert (ITA), and Primary Internet Exchange (PIX) Firewall, proxy, router, and server system logs.

When required, provides Tier III support to CONUS users.
-Reports system incidents and problems according to C-TNOSC CND SOPs and Service Level Agreements
-Complies with all C-TNOSC ITIL best practices and standard operating procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 
Why would someone want this job? 
This is the lead position for the largest contract under the largest employer in the Yuma area.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Planning, staffing, and budget management for major program(s) within the Group or Corporate Organization. Line Program responsibility typically $10 to $25 million annual revenue. Oversees 50+ direct/indirect employees/contractors. Typically has direct profit/loss responsibility. Manages direct staff/resources to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and other program requirements. . For Indirect/Corporate employees at this level, responsible significant function (s) with significant impact supporting entire organization (Business Group- wide and/or Company-wide).  Externally recognized mastery and expertise in a complex scientific field or other learned discipline.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Must have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems. Must have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition, T&amp;E, and support of military programs and resources for Army systems (to include weapons systems).
Other requirements, comments:

Possession of either Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certification
Demonstrate 10 -12 years experience in management and T&amp;E. Possess an extensive Army military or Civil Service background with leading teams of over 500 personnel. Possess an in-depth understanding of delivering test support services and performing tests for ATEC is highly desirable.

Demonstrate 6 or more years of managing an activity of a MRFTB, such as YPG, APG, or EPG. Experience as T&amp;E Manager for an Army weapon system that has been tested at one of the Army's Test Ranges.

Minimum of 5 years experience in: contracting and contracting terms; management of finance and accounting operations; operating a quality control section and human relation operations.
Minimum of 5 years experience managing multiple sub-contractors as Prime contractor. 

Clearance: Secret

Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and twelve to fifteen years of related (technical environment) experience including management experience.
