Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
The Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) Technical Specialist serves as a member of the team that integrates, tests, and maintains client and server systems, and provides technical expertise across the spectrum of intelligence collection, analysis, and fusion, military operations, and IT engineering for the DCGS-A Programs. DCGS-A systems are a diverse mix of software and hardware solutions designed to meet challenging intelligence processing, exploitation, and dissemination requirements for the Army at war. DCGS-A features unique data scalability requirements and allows for a flexible system evolution.

The Technical Specialist working on the program is required to provide engineering expertise to support the design and development of DCGS systems, the solution of hardware and software challenges across multiple hardware and software baselines. The Technical Specialist will also support the testing, and hardening, delivery and installation and operation of the systems, and may be required to travel to support these activities. With three different hardware and software baselines currently in the field, the DCGS-A Technical Specialist will interact with a project teams supporting a wide variety of systems implementations on a number of customer site. The technical specialist may be required to serve as an action officer for the government customer, accepting taskings from government leadership.
The successful candidate will have extensive systems architecture, design and development, software, hardware, and network troubleshooting experience. The candidate will be able to interact with project engineers and government personnel, providing technical expertise, briefings, and specialized reports. This candidate must have clearly superior oral and written communications skills, combined with deep technical knowledge. Candidate will have project engineering experience and familiarity with remote system administration software, networking principles. They will also have the ability to work independently, with minimum direction; creative problem solver able to quickly devise, and implement solutions to wide ranging problems. A self-motivated and results-focused mindset is a must.

The responsibilities for this role will include advanced knowledge of the installation, configuration and management of cloud software components. A trainer on the DSC Boot Camp Training program should be comfortable with the individual technologies that make up a cloud system, as well as how they inter-operate. This includes hardware and software components. A thorough working knowledge with Linux operating systems and basic to advanced knowledge of networking are base requirements.
o The trainers will be supervised by the SMEs on the program to ensure that they are fully trained on the DSC Cloud environments. The trainers will need to have prior experience as mentors or trainers with DCGS-A experience. The trainers will also need to have experience in writing and implementing training curriculum.

Candidate will participate as a team member of our US Army customer’s avionics software maintenance facility in the design, development, upgrade, field support, and maintenance of a wide variety of US Army avionics equipments, including inertial navigation systems, radar transponders, Global Positioning System equipment, and VHF/UHF radios. Equipment includes ground maintenance support equipment to perform system Line Replaceable Unit testing and software downloading. Some equipment is networked using MIL-STD-1553B, RS-232/422, TCP/IP, and other bus architectures. Software skills encompass a wide variety of operating systems and languages. Past experience with formal process-based software development, quality assurance, configuration control, testing, and software release procedures is desirable. Candidate may be required to train field personnel (aviation maintenance personnel, pilots) in new procedures or features introduced by software upgrades. Familiarity with military avionics, air worthiness, safety of flight, and flight line practices is desirable.
Position will require the ability to analyze and implement customer equipment modification requirements. Support activities will require use of standard PC-based software tools (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint). Work products will be iterative, requiring adjustment as per corrections made by the customer in requirements, or as per changing customer needs. Knowledge of DoD/US Army organization, regulations, standards, and practices is desirable. Prior experience with Army programs, Army organization, and Army organizational responsibilities is desirable. Some travel may be required.

What will this position offer you?
The Senior Program Control Analyst Lead will be responsible for developing program or administrative financial reporting; developing and recommending guidance on program financial planning and risk management; assisting the project manager in evaluating the workload/cost impact against the program budget.

Position Duties:
·Responsible for ensuring the company complies with proper accounting practices, internal controls, policies and procedures. 
·Daily, weekly or monthly responsibilities will include providing proper charge code direction to the personnel assigned to the program, tracking obligated and expended funds against contract ceilings.
·Auditing expense reports, timesheets and purchase requisitions. 
·Preparing various CDRL’s as defined for the program.
·Assist with complex analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned portions of a program or programs.
·Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
·This role includes meeting challenges and deadlines in an environment of dedication, pride and strong work ethic. 
·The job provides a well rounded, great foundation for fundamental accounting, finance and contract principles in a Department of Defense Contracting environment.

Position Qualifications:
·Bachelors Degree plus 7 to 12 years of related experience and supervisory experience.
·Experience with developing and maintaining ETCs
·Ability to use corporate tools to run reports, track costs, report impact
·Ability to analyze financial data and determine variance
·Preparation of customer-required financial reports
·Review invoices and work with Billing to ensure accuracy
·Must have an understanding of revenue reconciliation and cost
·Must have knowledge of multiple contract types (T&amp;M, FP, Cost Plus)
·Highly organized
·Understanding of the importance of data accuracy and integrity
·Experience with Microsoft Office 2007
·Experience with Government contracting
