As the Physical Technical Certification Officer you coordinate a broad range of technical and physical securityissues relating to the accreditation of SCIFs and collateral facilities.
Responsibilities include:
Requires multidiscipline security background in security and IC policies.
Knowledge of industrial, personnel, physical, technical, construction and computer security concepts theories,techniques principals and practices.
Must have experience in SCIF construction, C&A, ICD 705, TSCM, telephone and computer security, TEMPEST and telecom devices, as well as SCIF inspections.
In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in telephony technologies; a variety of physical security disciplinesincluding but not limited to locks, alarms, construction security, security policy, physical security guidance.
Must have demonstrated experience in indentifying and reviewing physical/technical security countermeasures tomaintain SCIFs in commercial or government facilities , verification that physical and technical security measuresare complete, compliant and functional prior to SCIF accreditation.
Provides comprehensive, risk-based physical and technical security guidance and support, particularly forco-utilization.
MUST have experience with ICD 705, NISPOM, DCI SAP program policy.
Position Requirements:
Junior Positions: HS, 3-5 years experience depending on position, at least 1-2 years specific experience
Mid-level Positions: HS, BA preferred, 5-10 years experience depending on position, 3-5 specific exp.
Senior Positions: BA preferred, 10+ yrs experience with 5-10 years specific experience depending on position
Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance based upon a SSBI completed within thelast 5 years and CI Polygraph.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience including comprehensive knowledge of intelligence and or counterintelligence.
