Job Duties and Responsibilities

As the research support specialist you are responsible for processing, tracking, and status documentation of background investigations, as well as obtaining, processing, verifying and disseminating PERSEC information.
Responsibilities include:
* Requires strong analytical reasoning and judgment skills.
* Must have experience with DCID 6/4, applicable ICD, and EO 12968 guidelines
* Database management
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* customer service, time management skills, as well as experience in general office duties such as photocopying, data entry, faxing and mailing.
* Some positions require training skills.
* Ability to work in a high volume, high customer service arena.
* Value added for candidates that can present past experience providing innovative approaches to streamlining services to reduce costs.
Position Requirements:
* Junior Positions: HS, 3-5 years experience depending on position, at least 1-2 years specific experience
* Mid-level Positions: HS, BA preferred, 5-10 years experience depending on position, 3-5 specific exp.
* Senior Positions: BA preferred, 10+ yrs experience with 5-10 years specific experience depending on position
Security Requirements:U.S.Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance based upon a SSBI completed within the last 5 years and CI Polygraph.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience including comprehensive knowledge of intelligence and or counterintelligence.
