Job Duties and Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert providing testing expertise to support user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications. Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection. Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency, or industry standards, time lines, and budgets. Responsible for ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.
Experience in testing through a full system development life cycle including designing, developing test cases and plans from requirements documentation, implementing test plans, execution of test cases, documenting test processes from existing system and functional specifications, and documenting test results for corrective actions for reports and audits. Developing, conducting, and interpreting performance, load and stress testing. Testing experience in Data/User interfaces, data migration and security testing desired. Knowledge to install and configure systems for operation in multi-terabyte environment utilizing SAN storage systems.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with five years of related experience. Equivalents: High School diploma with nine years of specialized experience in related field, or Associates Degree with seven years of experience, or Masters Degree with three years experience, or Doctorate Degree with one year experience.
