Job Duties and Responsibilities

Major Job Function: System integration and system engineering services, technology planning and assessment, requirements definition and analysis, design and implementation assessment, independent verification and validation (IV&V), risk assessments, modeling and testing. Provides guidance to management for current and proposed investments in telecommunications and network facilities. Constructs the overall system architecture of the information system, to include external and internal interface analysis, internal interface definition, and functional requirement allocations. Researches current and future technological developments and applications. Works closely with systems users to provide guidance in the identification and resolution of user problems and concerns. May lead a team of planning analysts responsible for the research and technical assistance for a user group.
Minimum of 8 years general experience and 6 years specialized experience.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph required.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related (large-scale information system architecture) experience.
