Required Skills/Experience:
This is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) position for a person with over 5 years experience, and as such they are expected to conduct comprehensive analysis of computer code, static binaries, dynamic binaries, and potentially packet analysisi of network traffic.
Need multiple years of actual hands on experience with common Malware Analysis tools like IDApro, Ollydbg, hex editors, Sysinternals suite, Volatility, etc...
Candidate must have an expert understanding of common malware concepts like x86 logic structures, PE headers, DLL interactions, API hooking, etc...
As a SME you may be called upon to develop specific countermeasures and/or mitigation strategies to address specific malware findings.
You shall have 5 or more years experience within the Intelligence Community, specifically working in the areas of network security and/or vulnerability analysis.
Need to be able to write technical reports and potentially brief findings to your team and/or management in order to disseminate information related to your malware analysis.
Desired Skills/ Experience:
Familiarity with relevant CNO and SIGINT databases and tools.
Have the ability to work through SIGINT and/or other Intelligence Community production processes to include: tasking, research, processing, disseminating information, and generating the final product.
Education/Experience requirements:
5-7 years experience with Bachelor degree
TS/SCI with Poly is required. Work location is the Baltimore/Washington area.
