ManTech Senior Intelligence Analyst in Harrison, Michigan

ManTech International Corporation is looking for a Senior Intelligence Analyst for our client location in Harrison, MI.

General Responsibilities:

• Provides support for all source, human source, and counter intelligence collection management, analyses, and taskings

• Develops and implements multi-platform, national traffic analysis to meet priority intelligence requirements

• Designs and executes intelligence collections for real time multiple-agency and multiple-source operations

• Provides in-depth research, analysis and cultivation of intelligence, law enforcement data and private sector data

• Travels as needed to various Border Patrol locations in support of on-going operations and/or mission critical initiatives

• Prepares business planning focus session documents and after action reports

• Participates in training with government counterparts on a variety of databases

• Analyzes and explore information technology requirement upgrades and products

• Produces Intelligence reports, threat reports, and special studies

• Provides analysis and strategy reports

• Provides liaison support involving intelligence analysis as related to NBCC operational requirements

• Collects, reviews, interprets, evaluates, and integrates data from multiple sources assessing its relevance and significance as it relates to the assigned area, and identify time-sensitive items of interest for NBCC leadership

• Prepares new or revise previous analyses, assessments or other intelligence products, and request downgraded and/or declassified versions of intelligence reports for dissemination to supported entities

• Prepares and presents senior level briefings

• Researches of intelligence and all-source information to identify individuals and entities involved in illicit activity, their sources and methods of financial, material, and logistical support

• Researches, designs and develops statistical and analytical products from a variety of law enforcement data for purposes of reporting trends and patterns, as well as developing policy credentials


• Must be able to obtain DHS Top Secret / SCI clearance

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a credentialed law enforcement officer

• Minimum of 10 years DHS/CBP inter-agency experience in intelligence

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in research, development, and coordination within the intelligence community

• Experience with intelligence research supporting CBP mission set to include DTOs, TCOs, and terrorist travel

• Minimum of 10 years experience working with federal, state and local law enforcement and intelligence agencies and databases

• Minimum of 10 years of experience producing intelligence in a time-sensitive joint environment for release to Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Enterprise and Intelligence Community customers

• Expert knowledge of the Intelligence Cycle and Criminal Investigations

• Knowledge of intelligence organizations and systems, collection and reporting systems, intelligence information sources, and techniques of identifying, collating, evaluating, and analyzing information

• Ability to research a voluminous amount of databases to identify trends or patterns

• Knowledge in the collection, analyzing, and dissemination of criminal intelligence information

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with DHS or a DHS component in the Great Lakes Northern Border region

• Minimum of 8 years of experience (within the last 10 years) in threat, indications and warning, collection, analysis, and production and collaborating with other senior intelligence analysts

• Masters degree or higher in intelligence, criminal justice, law enforcement, public administration or closely related field preferred


• This position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, the ability to plan and organize work, and excellent oral and written communication skills

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint are required. Schedule risk assessment and business analysis software experience is also desired

• Superior customer interface at senior levels of management with excellent oral and written communication skills are critical

Clearance Requirements:

• A current Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation is required

• A Top Secret clearance and a favorable background investigation conducted within the last five years are required
