Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
Monitors system development, enterprise and system architecture analysis, acquisition, operations, and sustainment support for existing and new capabilities. Interface with government liaisons and contractors to integrate and verify IA objectives and functions, as specified by DoD IA related policies and directives, for successful system certification and accreditation (C&A) Manage multiple tasks which may include requirement and interface development, test development, and certification planning Participate in risk analysis, cost trades, performance, reliability, and security impact analysis to determine the appropriate IA products, systems, and policies for the customer’s enterprise network. Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities: Designs and implements information assurance and security engineering systems with requirements of business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation), physical security analysis (including facilities analysis, and security management). Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. Validate system security requirements definition and analysis. Establish system security designs. Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures. Verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities. Supports secure systems operations and maintenance.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications --Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed: Experience with system security, security architecture, network security engineering, or secure network system development. Experience in working with Federal DoD Security Architecture, Policy and Engineering Knowledge of cryptographic fundamentals. Experience as a security architect or engineer responsible for identifying and quickly resolving issues on complex programs. Knowledge of system engineering processes, including requirements analysis, interface definition, and detailed implementation planning. Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and system and host security. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications-- Candidates with the following desired skills will be given preferential consideration: CISSP, Experience with DCID 6/3, and Understanding of IP-based network security.
Security Requirements:U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance based upon a SSBI completed within the last 5 years. Current Polygraph.
