Job Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the successful completion of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. Responsible for the conduct of all mission activities during the course of flight. Is final authority for all aircraft mission decisions and functional activities, with the exception of aircraft flight responsibilities which shall remain with the pilot. Coordinates scheduled missions. Responsible for the conduct of all pre-mission and post-mission briefings, providing written reports of each mission and the delivery of all products collected to the designated Country Team POC. Responsible for take-off, landing and position reports and all mission communications with any U.S. Agency or tasking authority that effect the conduct of mission operations.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Education, Human Resources Development, and Psychology or other related disciplines and twelve to fifteen years of experience
Additional Qualifications At a minimum should have a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. At a minimum should have 10 years of relevant work experience. Individual must pass an annual operations recertification and hold a valid Class 2 Flight Physical. At a minimum should possess 1,500 pilot hours total time and should be rated and possess 1,000 pilot hours in the applicable type aircraft. The individual shall have documented experience conducting Operational Missions as Aircraft Commander in multi crew/role aircraft. Experience should be shown with Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) and Operational Risk Management (ORM)
