Job Duties and Responsibilities ***This position has the potential to be located anywhere throughout the Continental US and/or Overseas. An exact determination will be made by ManTech.
Defines, designs and develops system requirements. Performs trade-off analyses of performance, life-cycle cost, risk, producibility, and other system or program requirements. Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs system specifications, and evaluates input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Defines system support requirements. Analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Conducts independent technical investigations in systems design. Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related work experience.
Additional Qualifications t a minimum should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or computer science from a college or university accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and four (4) years of progressively complex work experience in the design, integration, and analysis of military electronics, computer networking, super-minicomputers, microcomputers, and digital and graphic display systems.
