ManTech Logistician Lead in Pasadena, California

ManTech is looking for a Logistician Lead to join our team onsite. We are seeking a Logistician Lead who will provide full oversight of the asset management program.

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inventory in the asset management system to reflect the correct property associated with the correct user at the correct location.

  • Manage the preparation of equipment for issuance or shipment

  • Oversee the process receipts through inspection, signature, reporting and delivery

  • Manage the supply stock/storage of spares/loaners, expendables, damaged equipment, equipment pending repairs, equipment pending sanitization or destruction

  • Coordinate and track equipment movements between OEMs, 3 rd party provider locations, customer sites and the primary work location.

  • Coordinate with buyer to process or support procurements/acquisitions, as necessary

  • Maintain oversight of supply levels at 3 rd party providers sites

  • Assist with forecast supply levels, as necessary

  • Manage the asset tagging process to include ordering/creating barcode labels, application to systems or supplying labels to Field Technicians to apply to systems, and logging asset tag identification information into the asset management system.

  • Maintain inventory records

  • Perform physical inventories and random cycle counts as necessary

  • Reconcile asset management system and actual counts on-hand

  • Manage the lost, theft, damaged and or destroyed (LTDD) process and reporting

  • Coordinate disposition of equipment, reporting and disposal

  • Manage property close-out activities

  • Host and attend logistics meetings with leadership and customer, as necessary

  • Prepare and submit asset/property deliverables on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Maintain the Property Management Plan

  • Document standard operating procedures and workflows, as necessary

  • Manage the coordination warranty movement, as necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience planning and coordinating commercial ground transportation.

  • Ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing an overall program logistics management program.

  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation.

  • Exercise property management functions to include record maintenance, accountability storage and disposal functions.

  • Oversee contracts for general supply support for procurement of office supplies, equipment and furnishings, rentals and/ or leased items.

  • Implement internal control procedures to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.

  • Perform supply/inventory management-program functions including, but not limited to, determination of requirements, distribution and redistribution of items, supply fund management, procurement authorization, disposition of excess property, provide reconciliation of inventory balances with physical counts and other supply functions.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including (but not limited to) Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Previous logistics experience in inventory management, supply, distribution, and transportation.

  • Must be familiar with IT equipment – MAC, PC, phones, printers, peripherals and accessories.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record.

  • Must be able to carry and/or lift tools, kits or parts of up to 50-75 lbs.

Education/Experience:

  • Requires Associates degree or higher

  • 5 – 8 years hands-on work experience
