Roles and Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions as well as ensure software standards are met.

Required Skills:

* BS in Computer Science or related field

* At least 7 years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.

* Have 2 years of experience in the SIGINT environment.


Assets:

* At least 4 years of experience developing software using the JAVA programming language.  At least 3 years of either C or C++ Windows/LINUX (RedHat versions 3-5) programming experience.

* At least 3 years of demonstrated experience developing software for Windows (2000, 2003, XP, Vista), UNIX and LINUX (RedHat versions 3-5) OS. With at least 1 year of this experience must have been obtained within the last 2 years.

* Familiar with the software development process described in the J-STD-016 and IEEE/EIA 12207, “Information Technology-Software lifecycle processes” and possess at least 2 years of experience developing software in accordance with the standards.

* Have experience “wrapping” legacy systems or components as Web Services within SOA framework.

* Have experience developing solutions integrating and extending COTS products.

* At least 3 years experience in software integration and software testing, to include developing and implementing test plans and test scripts.

* Have demonstrated technical writing skills.

* Have knowledge and experience with developing distributed storage routing and querying algorithms.



* Knowledge and experience with internals of HDFS, HADOOP, and/or Google’s BIG TABLE.

Position Description 
ManTech is seeking a senior software developer who will participate in an Agile development project building voice analytic software for tactical and enterprise customers. Job Duties and Responsibilities 
Work closely with customers to understand system requirements and features. Implement system interfaces and features as defined by system architecture guidelines. Work as a collaborative member of an agile development team to produce system components based on 90 day spin cycle with 2 week iterations.
Specific duties include:
• Design and develop code, unit and integration tests
• Help in the design and development of next-generation SURREY system
• Design and run integration and end-to-end tests to verify performance against requirements;
• Analyze and interpret test results to characterize component behavior
• Participate as a collaborative member of an Agile team
• Participate in all aspects of the SCRUM process (planning, collaboration, lessons learned)
Required Skills and Experience:
• Five+ years experience as a software developer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOS tools and integration (with new and legacy systems)
• Four+ years experience with Java development
• Knowledge in Linux/Unix, XML, Apache, Tomcat, JavaSript, Ajax, jQuery
• Ruby on Rails experience
• Ability to work independently to develop and review code
• Ability to work in a team using Agile Scrum
Desired:
• Oracle experience
• Ozone Widget Framework experience
• REST interfaces experience
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meets the experience requirements
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
