Program Overview:

The mission of Marine Corps Systems Command is to serve as the Department of the Navy's (DON) systems command for Marine Corps ground weapon and information technology system programs in order to equip and sustain Marine forces with full-spectrum, current and future expeditionary and crisis response capabilities.

This effort is in support of PM Intel Systems (PMIS) in research and development, acquisition, and sustainment of cutting edge tactical intelligence collection, processing and dissemination equipment as well as ground electronic warfare (EW) systems.

The purpose of this program is to support PMIS in conducting research, engineering, science, technology, development, advisory, integration, in order to provide enhanced integrated and interoperable intelligence capabilities to the operating forces.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in research and development, acquisition and sustainment of cutting edge tactical intelligence collection, processing and dissemination equipment as well as ground electronic warfare systems.

  • Knowledge of test strategies, test plans and test procedures to meet objectives of the system for both developmental and operational test.

  • Documents, investigates, and tracks both integration and operational defects. Provide input to and participate in the CCB process.

  • Capture and report defect metrics, planning and executing software testing efforts using Agile methodologies.

  • Support integration and interface testing and verification efforts, including analysis of test approach and requirements traceability.

  • Directly support Marine Corps Government Test Engineers in the execution of their duties by providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance.

  • Knowledge of DoD and/or Marine Corps policies and procedures, DoD 5000, CMMI, ISO 9000.

Qualifications

At least eight (8) years of relevant experience (with a Bachelor's Degree).

This experience must include at least four (4) years with at least three (3) of the following skills:

  • Recommending and implementing automated test tools and strategies.

  • Experience with writing, reviewing, and updating technical documents.

  • Ability to write and develop test documentation such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Test Reports, Test Plans, Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) artifacts, and presentations to support briefings.

  • Experience with System Engineering Technical Reviews with particular focus on Test Readiness Reviews and System Verification Reviews.

  • Writing, implementing and reporting status for system test cases.

  • Developing, maintaining and upgrading automatic test scripts and architectures for application products.

  • Analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports.

  • Demonstrate the ability to investigate and analyze software problems in Developmental and Operational test environments.

8570 IAT Level I plus system training.
