Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Information Assurance Officer will support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software Information Assurance (IA) problems pertaining to their computer and network environment. Other responsibilities include:
·    Configure and manage enclave network environment in support of mission planning and classified networks.
·    Develop IA related customer support policies, procedures, and standards.
·    Ensure all information systems (IS) are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with established security policies and practices IAW JAFAN 6/3 and the System Security Plan at the assigned unit.
·    Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, and need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access to the IS.
·    Ensure configuration management (CM) for security-relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented.
·    Conduct audits of all IS to ensure compliance with established policies and directives.
·    Ensure that system recovery processes are monitored to ensure that security features and procedures are properly restored.
·    Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.

Position Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in the Information Technology field or five years experience with Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, and personal computers. 
-Must have the ability to troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals such as printers, and software and network issues without technical assistance. 
-Competent with MS Office products. 
-Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and the implementation of computer security
settings. 
-Must meet certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570-1 m for Information Assurance Technician Level 3 prior to 1 January 2011 or within 6
months of the date of hire, whichever comes later. 
-Meet and maintain SAP and SCI eligibility criteria.

The successful candidate for this position will formulate and execute New Equipment Training (NET) for Product Director CHARCS in concert with fielding activities worldwide including hostile fire zones. The successful candidate will also provide refresh/reset and over-the-shoulder training as well as perform other duties as assigned. 
The successful candidate must be knowledgeable of and experienced in the formulation and execution of organizational training programs. Must be experienced to assess training requirements, identify and evaluate training alternatives, develop training materials to include a variety of training approaches: traditional classroom, programmed learning, hands-on, simulation, video, audio, and computer aided training. Must be capable of instructing personnel from prepared course material. The successful candidate must possess Army CI/HUMINT experience. CHARCS experience is a plus. The successful candidate must present evidence of at least five (5) years of training experience (13 years without a bachelor’s degree), preferably in a military environment.
The successful candidate will interact with soldiers deploying into combat with new CHARCS equipment and enable those soldiers to use this equipment to accomplish their mission. Personnel with prior military experience will find a sense of camaraderie akin to military service in our organization.
Must be able to travel 75% of the time (including combat zones). Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

·    Perform remote support for the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) database for one Military Treatment Facility (MTF), to include files and patient/user data. Support the government staff in updating business practices to better serve the hospital and patients.
·    Perform data analysis, auditing and reconciliation on a variety of reports from CHCS.
·    Coordinate and facilitate the correction of errors and omissions from CHCS.
·    Make recommendations to improve data accuracy and data collection.

·    Manage and perform and assist AHLT A data mapping requirements.
·    Assist AHLTA System Specialist with system administration support (backup for CHCS System Specialist)
·    Perform special projects, on an as needed basis.
·    Attend weekly teleconferences for statement of work and to provide updates to the government.
·    Provide the site with a CHCS monthly cleanup progress report
·    Assist the client staff in ensuring site CHCS files and tables are consistent with the military treatment facility and higher headquarters.
·    Assess business practices and procedures which impact the CHCS data quality and recommend process improvements to prevent data deficiencies reoccurring.
·    Perform reconciliation of the CHCS file and table structure.
·    Perform quarterly site visits to provide on-site technical assistance.

This contract will involve major efforts in system integration, system and software engineering, data collection, data reduction, data management, motor pool operations, equipment maintenance, and test support services in other than an office environment at one of the largest Army installations supporting the Warfighter.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Planning, staffing, and budget management for major program(s) within the Group or Corporate Organization. 
Line Program responsibility typically $10 to $25 million annual revenue.
Oversees 50+ direct/indirect employees/contractors.
Typically has direct profit/loss responsibility.
Manages direct staff/resources to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and other program requirements. 
For Indirect/Corporate employees at this level, responsible significant function (s) with significant impact supporting entire organization (Business Group- wide and/or Company-wide).  
Externally recognized mastery and expertise in a complex scientific field or other learned discipline.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Must have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems.
Must have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition, T&amp;E, and support of military programs and resources for Army systems (to include weapons systems).

Other requirements:

Possession of either Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certification
Demonstrate 10 -12 years experience in management and T&amp;E.
Possess an extensive Army military or Civil Service background with leading teams of over 500 personnel.
Possess an in-depth understanding of delivering test support services and performing tests for ATEC is highly desirable.
Demonstrate 6 or more years of managing an activity of a MRFTB, such as YPG, APG, EPG, or similar testing activity.
Experience as T&amp;E Manager for an Army material and information mission area systems that has been tested at one of the Army's Test Ranges.
Minimum of 5 years experience in: contracting and contracting terms; management of finance and accounting operations; operating a quality control section and human relation operations.
Minimum of 5 years experience managing multiple sub-contractors as Prime contractor.

Job Description:
Researches, plans, designs and develops new applications for electro-mechanical equipment and systems. • Preferred areas of experience may be with light or heavy duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, ground systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.
• Maintenance support includes operations, system troubleshooting, engineering, design, installation, analysis, maintenance and repair of U.S. systems and subsystems to component level.

Major Job Functions:







Performs as a technical expert in the design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or complex enhancements to existing software. Works within a development team to understand and to develop resolution of software problems. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements. Assists in the training of less experienced software development staff and may act as a team leader on less complex projects.

Provides computer forensic and intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments. Conducts vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems. Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption. Assists in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating and analyzing computer network intrusions. 




Requirements:

* Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Major Job Functions:






Performs as a technical expert in the design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or complex enhancements to existing software. Works within a development team to understand and to develop resolution of software problems. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements. Assists in the training of less experienced software development staff and may act as a team leader on less complex projects.

Provides computer forensic and intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments. Conducts vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems. Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption. Assists in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating and analyzing computer network intrusions. 




Requirements:

* Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Preferences:

* BS degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering or a related field

* A passion for low-level software engineering. 

Ideal candidates: will be experienced low-level / kernel programmers whose capabilities should include expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following subject areas:
