TheComputer Forensics and Intrusion Analysis Division (CFIA) of ManTech MCTSis looking for a highly motivated and qualifiedEmbedded Systems Security Managerin the Northern VA/DC metro area. Major Job Functions

ManTech’s Hardware Exploitation Laboratory is looking for highly motivated individuals to serve as Digital Thaumaturges. This position is focused on reverse engineering of embedded systems electronics and associated firmware, vulnerability assessment of ubiquitous computing platforms, and the development of highly specialized hardware and software tools. Successful applicants must possess broad technical depth and the ability to perform and innovate under pressure. Applicants should have exposure to several of the following technical areas, and bring expert knowledge of at least one.

Provides computer forensic and intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments. Conducts vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems. Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption. Assists in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating and analyzing computer network intrusions.

Requirements

Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to obtain a US TOP SECRET security clearance.
This position requires a TOP SECRET security clearance. Applicants with the appropriate skills but without a security clearance are encouraged to apply. If you’re the right fit for the job, we’ll make it happen. Applicants will be subject to a government security background investigation.

Preferences

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience with a minimum of six months experience in one or more of the following: computer network penetration testing and techniques; computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis. Applicants should also have supervisory/managerial/leadership experience and mentality.
