ManTech International Corporation is looking for a Deputy Project Manager – supporting varied CONUS and OCONUS locations
ManTech International Corporation is looking to hire an experienced Deputy Project Manager to support our U.S. Government Agency customer in multiple locations stateside or OCONUS. This position will require the candidate to currently possess an active DOD – Top Secret Security Clearance.
LOCATION: CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The qualified candidate will look to work closely within a team environment. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to articulate well, be extremely tactful and reserved when in communication with all levels of leadership and will be assigned complex projects that will directly impact their program by managing projects from start to finish.
MUST HAVE an active DOD – Top Secret Security Clearance for customer consideration.
MUST obtain a pre-deployment DOS Medical Clearance upon hire.
This specific management role will require self-motivation, quality performance, decision making and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
Develop a project plan, identify qualified personnel, develop a project timeline, identify required resources and execute the plan to completion.
Apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrate knowledge of the organization's business practices and issues.
These positions will be responsible for working with subject matter experts to respond to requests from the Program Managers and work on requirements from foreign service posts and other entities within the Department of State.
Must demonstrate the ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a cohesive team.

Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint). Supervisory responsibilities associated with this position include supervision of professional, technical, and labor staff.
There may be required travel OCONUS to diplomatic facilities. OCONUS travel may include critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions. Domestic travel may be required.

- Bachelor s degree required in related field – i.e. – Information Technology, Computer Science OR in lieu of degree, 14+ years of related work experience may be considered.
Requires Bachelor s degree in related field of study and 5-years experience in managing a team OR 14+ years of related work experience and 5+ years experience in managing a team.
