Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical advisory and management support in evaluating proposed software architecture/applications, technical requirements and database designs. Assist in the development of software technical requirements and provide inputs into government solicitation documentation to industry. The successful candidate should possessextensive experience in reviewing proposed approaches and developing technical feedback/assessments to assist the government in the selection of an optimum solution(s). Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and demonstrated experience on a complex software development project requiring extensive coordination across a broad stakeholder community including federal, state, local and commercial industry entities is required. Previous experience in a technical leadership role on anEnterprise-level Applications development, integration and sustainmentplanning project strongly desired.
General Responsibilities:
· Complete secondary research, literature review and exploration of technical concepts; compile findings into a summary report, and present the information to government staff.
· Provide technical expertise to assist Federal staff with technical performance monitoring, documentation, and progress assessment of currently funded projects.
· Maintain and update project operating and technical monitoring plans for approximately (average of 7-10 projects).
· Ensure projects are achieving project objectives, performance measures, milestones and other pertinent information
· Review application materials, concept papers and complete pre-screening of related documents to identify the strengths, weaknesses and any observations relative to the criteria outlined in the solicitation.
Requirements:
* A Masters degree in one of the following or similar fields of study: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems
* Possess 12-15 years direct relevant experience technical advisory support role or mid-level management position in a complex, leading edge software application development environment.
* Authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions/Permanent US Resident.
· Other Skills Required:Ability to aggressively attack complex problems and identify feasible/optimum solutions. Contribute to the customer mission/goals beyond assigned tasks; implement innovative, thought leadership techniques to challenge the norm. Possess demonstrated effective leadership of diverse multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.Superior customer and stakeholder interface and excellent oral and written communication skills are critical.
Miscellaneous: Full time position; must be willing to work in downtown Washington DC, onsite with the government customer.

Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field, and twelve to fifteen years related experience including network systems engineering and or Master’s degree in computer science and nine to eleven years of experience. Requires
