ManTech International Corporation is seeking a qualified candidate tobecome a Data Management Support Specialist supporting a FederalAgency. This positionrequires candidates possess a current and active Secret security clearance toqualify.

  • The Database Management Specialist is basicallydefined as the IT professional that is involved in all aspects of a businessdata flow.

  • Strong Database and Unix/Linux experience.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan andaccomplish goals.

  • Performs a variety of tasks without supervisionand limited guidance.

  • Typically reports to a senior level manager.

  • Provides support to Systems Management andOperations teams by troubleshooting application and data problems andfulfilling data requests.

  • Supports the Screening Gateway Technology branchby assisting with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and data applicationinvestigations.

  • Data Management activities also includeidentifying/Inspecting and manipulating data to process through variousapplications based on existing business rules.

  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of theScreening Gateway system data. Receives, validates, and loads data received inExcel formats from a variety of sources.

  • Responsible for problem escalation to Managementand third parties as appropriate.

  • Review scheduled Reports (received via emails)to Identify erroneous or anomalous data and takes actions to correct or removeerrors in order to restore data sets to reliable levels.

  • Collaborate and consult with DatabaseAdministrators, UNIXAdministrators,Software Developers, and team members to assist with day-to-day tasks

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor s degree (in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field) or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.

Skill Requirements include:

  • Be able to prepare Dynamic SQL s respond tocustomer s requirements.

  • Create shell scripts for task automation.

  • Attention to detail and Ability to follow/createStandard Operating Procedures.

  • Proven Oracle 11g and higher Database Managementexperience and strong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).

  • Proven Oracle PL/SQL, ETL, OBIEE, Experience andOLAP Skills.

  • Five or more years of practical knowledge inserver operating systems, the command line interface, batch/shell scripting.

  • Possess excellent communication and writtenskills.

  • Requires 24x7 on call support on a rotatingbasis

  • Using SQL and PL/SQL to Develop databaseObjects/utilities and automated reporting.

  • Execute and or Modify ETL workflows to exportData.
