Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Classification Management Officer (CMO) III to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The Classification Management Officer (CMO) III provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System

• Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution

• Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge

• Provide CM recommendations to senior customer leadership

• Generate, track, coordinate and respond to action items in a timely manner

• Research and write protection guidance products for customer programs and assets

• Identify and assess sources for classification determinations

Position Requirements:

• Masters and 5 years experience or Bachelor s Degree and 8 years experience or Associates and 12 years experience or High School Diploma and 16 years experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena

• Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance

• Excellent writing and research skills

• Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer highly preferred

Security Requirements:

Must possess an active TS/SCI with CI Poly to be considered.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor s degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience and ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DOD, DOE, or other government security regulatory manuals.
