ManTech Cloud Migration Lead in Chantilly, Virginia
Responsible for migration-related O&Msupport for the movement of systems to cloud services for TSA's infrastructureand services.
Perform tasks, provide support, and oversee theTSA Cloud Migration efforts such as developing and following migration plans,associated detailed SOPs, and Work Instructions.
Work in tandem with Operational Engineering toensure coordination to achieve the overarching goal of assuring TSAsatisfaction and achievement of established Service Levels, along with optimumDC operations and performance.
Responsible for planning and engineering of thecloud computing infrastructure and applications.
Responsible for designing and implementing coremanagement and security services on the selected commercial cloud serviceprovider (candidate does not have to be an expert of specific securityservices, however, should have a practical knowledge for how to design &implement 3rd party proxy, firewall, IDS/IPS, and other security solutions on acloud-based architecture).
Responsible for planning and executingmigrations of specific services and applications, with the support of serviceor application-specific SMEs.
Responsible for designing and implementingsolutions to effectively monitor the performance and availability ofcloud-hosted services and applications.
Responsible for contributing to overallorganizational cloud strategy, including cost estimates, return on investment,application portfolio review & sequencing, and adoption of cloud-providermanaged services (PaaS).
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, andprocedures of cloud technology, including Software as a Service (SaaS),Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.
Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).
BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 7years related work experience designing and implementing secure enterprisesolutions on either Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
Must be able to work well in an environmentfacilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel toachieve a common goal.
Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic.You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring ahigh level of operational effectiveness.
