ManTech Data Management/Continuity Support Specialist in Chantilly, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Data Management/Continuity Support Specialist to join our team in Chantilly, VA to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

As the Data Management/Continuity Support Specialist you will provide enterprise data management and continuity of operations support to a directorate within the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

A qualified candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Continuity of Operations:

•Develop, train, implement, maintain, and execute the Directorate s Continuity of Operations plan.

•Support the Directorate s senior leaders with day-to-day continuity planning and assuring that the Directorate leadership is properly informed throughout the continuity planning process.

•Develop, maintain, and expand the Directorate continuity policy, guidance, program planning, management, oversight, and review.

•Develop the continuity of operations plans, instructions, concepts of operations, lessons learned capture, corrective action programs, and operational documentation.

•Develop and execute the exercise and evaluation cycle, multiyear training and exercise schedule, exercise events, and improvement plans.

•Coordinate and lead the Directorate Continuity Working Group to continue plan development, conduct exercises, and define working group member roles and responsibilities.

•Develop and establish objectives and milestones to sustain short and long range essential functions plans during a continuity event.

•Identify and validate communication assets needed to transfer and maintain an operational posture at continuity facilities.

•Work with inter-agency partners to ensure effective action planning in support of continuity goals.

Enterprise Data Management:

•Oversee and assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Directorate plan for managing enterprise data to include records management, authorized network data accesses, and enterprise data storage.

•Develop Directorate policies and procedures for Directorate enterprise data management.

•Audit the authorized network data accesses managed by the Directorate offices to ensure no unauthorized access is granted.

•Identify and coordinate with the Security office and Directorate offices to remove any unauthorized newt data accesses.

•Identify and manage all Directorate records in multiple locations through the development, implementation, and maintenance of a plan for managing data retention in accordance with enterprise policies.

•Ensuring the Directorate records management plans meet the requirements of, and is compatible with, the NRO Corporate Business Process Instructions.

•Provide information and training to Directorate senior-leaders, program records officers, web users, and government and contractor personnel.

•Conduct regular program records officer meetings.

•Attend all NRO enterprise data management, records management, and related meeting as the Directorate representative.

•Interface with other Directorates and other NRO offices for guidance as it relates to records management.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.


Position Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Management, Records Management, Library Sciences or Business Administration. (Four years of relevant experience can substituted for a degree.)

•5 to 7 years of experience in continuity planning, data management, or records management. Prefer that at least 2 years of that experience is at the NRO.
