ManTech Server Technician in Chantilly, Virginia

  • Troubleshoot Microsoft server issues.

  • Inform management in a clear, concise, andtimely manner of any customer or technical issues.

  • Handling server performance and security issuesas reactive and proactive work.

  • Handling infrastructure issues such asreplication issues, DFS configuration or server recovery.

  • User Access Management.

  • Satisfactorily complete and maintain quarterlyinternal training and certification standards.

  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearancewhile exhibiting a personable, polite and patient behavior at all times.

  • Be responsive and decisive on adjustingarchitecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technology evolves.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.

  • Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 3years related work experience.

  • Candidate must have experience in systemadministration across a broad array of technologies to include Windows 10,Windows 2003/2008, 2012 and 2016, DNS, DHCP and Active Directory administrationin a large enterprise environment.

  • Must be able to work well in an environmentfacilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel toachieve a common goal.

  • Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic.You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring ahigh level of operational effectiveness.

  • Team Player – This role is part of a much largerteam.

  • Candidates with current MCP, MCSA, or MCSE (Windows2008/12 or later) highly preferred.
