Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Sr. Contracts Specialist to join our team in Chantilly, VA to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Act as a business advisor to internal customers with regards to acquisition strategy, contract types, contracting methods, and sole source and competitive acquisition strategies and procedures (Source Selection experience mandatory).

•Assist in source selection pre-award functions normally conducted by Contract Specialist which includes preparing contract related documents such as Acquisition Research Center (ARC) postings, Acquisition Plans, Contract Review Panel (or equivalent) briefings, and other documentation required for contract award and administration.

•Solicit and advise during proposal evaluation, perform cost/price analysis, and prepare negotiation positions for Government approval.

•Assist in obtaining required reviews and/or approvals for contractual and acquisition documents.

•Perform source selection post-award functions including administering contracts by assuring compliance with terms and conditions of contracts, resolution of problems/issues that arise during performance of contracts, reviewing invoices, and continuously reviewing contracts for compliance with established programs, policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities:

•Prepare and disseminate contract modifications.

•Conduct invoice processing and tracking.

•Log and track Request for Contract Action (RCA) documents.

•Provide file and data base management.

•Compile and report contract status to management.

•Prepare contract documentation for briefings/meetings.

•Prepare contracts for settlement.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.


Position Requirements:

•BA or BS Degree or equivalent, and 7+ years of relevant experience.

•DAWIA Level I Contracting Certification (or equivalent) is desired.

•Five years of Federal Government contract experience (NRO experience desired but not mandatory) is desired and familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is required.

•Must be OCI compliant and able to work independently with minimal guidance. Source Selection experience is mandatory.
