CONTRACT BACKGROUND:

ManTech is currently looking for

outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis,

and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region

(NCR) and throughout the United States. ManTech will provide a variety of IT

services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access

management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support

services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations

center support services. ManTech will support TSA in both classified and

unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security

for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with

the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·

Responsible for requirements gathering,

analysis, design, development and implementation of web development in an Agile

Development Environment.

·

Responsible for maintaining, supporting and

upgrading existing web-based applications.

·

Apply proven communication skills,

problem-solving skills and knowledge of best practices on issues related to the

design, development and deployment of client oriented, mission-critical

information and software systems.

·

Must be able to clearly communicate both written

and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.

·

Responsible for the development and deployment

of new web-based applications and/or enhancements and analysis to existing

web-based applications.

·

Ensure that development projects meet business

requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify and resolve

systems issues.

·

Provide story points, pre-testing phase of

development by evaluating proposals in order to identify potential problem areas

and make the appropriate recommendations; collaborate with analysts, DBAs,

Project Leads, designers and system owners in the testing of new web-based

applications for quality assurance, program logic and data processing.

·

Operate within an Agile development team.

·

Responsible for coding, debugging, testing, and

troubleshooting throughout the application development process and will provide

full lifecycle support in maintaining and enhancing TSA's existing suite of web

applications.

·

Responsible for working with other application

teams to facilitate releases of new web applications, or web application

updates, to production networks.

·

Sustainment of application systems and

infrastructure and systems deployed to TSA s production network.

·

Support for applications transitioning into

TSA s Production environment.

·

Tier 3/4 break-fix support.

·

Emergency release/update support.

·

Interacting with network, security, database or

other support teams as required to resolve break/fix issues.

·

Capacity/utilization trend analysis.

·

Coordinating backup / restoration of application

systems and data.

·

Updating Standard Operating Procedures as

required.

·

Updating break/fix / knowledge database as

required.

·

Configuration management and control of

production application, systems, infrastructure and services.

·

Researching and recommending future technologies

for consideration and adoption.

·

Identifying opportunities to improve application

sustainability, security, and/or cost efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·

Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.

·

Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).

·

BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 5

years related work experience.

·

Must have knowledge and experience in agile

sprint process.

·

Direct experience in software development and/or

programming design and systems management.

·

Direct experience releasing applications built

on Microsoft IIS and SQL, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x and Oracle.

·

Experience with .NET/C#, C++, Javascript, AJAX,

Webform, ADO.Net, MVC and Entity Framework.

·

Extensive experience working in an Agile based

development environment, utilizing SCRUM, Kanban, providing Story Points.

·

Experience configuring Internet Information

Services (IIS), and managing Cluster environment.

·

Experience interfacing front-end applications

with MS SQL Server 2012/2008 R2 and Oracle 11g/12c.

·

Must be able to work well in an environment

facilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel to

achieve a common goal.

·

Detail oriented.

·

Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You

will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high

level of operational effectiveness.

Team Player – This role is part of a much larger

team.

Strong interpersonal skills are required due to
