ManTech Test Engineer, Junior in Falling Waters, West Virginia

A Test Engineer must have experience in the coordination and execution of test events in accordance with approved test

plans, procedures and scripts. Must have knowledge and skills to ensure that test environments are set up accurately. Must be able to create test reports. The test engineer must be able to test IT hardware, software, systems and networks .


  • The Test Engineer will be responsible forexecuting test plans and test scripts per requirements.

  • Document and detail any defects found duringtesting.

  • Document peer reviews of requirements.

  • Work on issues of diverse scope and complexity.

  • Select the appropriate methods and techniques forobtaining solutions.

  • Peer review and analyze technical and/orfunctional specifications.

  • Develop test cases and procedures to verifyapplication functionality.

  • Must have some knowledge of functional testing ofapplications with web services and web user interfaces.

  • Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.

  • Must be a team player, well organized andefficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Work with team memebers to create formal teststrategies and plans, estimate and manage test efforts (all test cycles).

  • Escalate issues and risks in a timely manner.

  • Aid in defect tracking from discovery tosuccessful correction, verification and validation.

  • Prior experience with the IBM Rational tool suite.

  • Prior use or understanding of Agile developmentmethodology
