Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Network Engineer, in the Fort Meade, MD area, with strong Customer relationships. The IMS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customer s success is driving our growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Network Engineer will monitor and maintain multiple networks, utilize technical analysis to maintain organization's capabilities, establish internal capabilities to support forensic investigations and operations through data repositories to promote transparency and visibility across the organization, conduct technical analysis to validate operational loads.

· Network Engineer will perform functions across most of the network facilities including physical media, protocol stacks, hubs, routers, bridges, gateways, servers, line drivers, telecommunications facilities, and related software and hardware, and network management components.

· Network Engineer provides all manners of design and construction of tailor-made networks, tradecraft solutions, the support and maintenance of those products, as well as the support and maintenance of operational network systems.

· Network Engineer will also support Counterintelligence (CI) and Counterterrorism (CT) investigations by providing research, design, and train personnel on internally designed technologies; evaluate emerging forensic technologies and provide operational security assessments.

· Network Engineer will provide client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of the network facilities.

· Network Engineer shall support solutions in sister organizations.

Position Requirements:

· Experience in network installation, setup and troubleshooting; or, equivalent network experience /academic experience.

· At least two years experience with network hardware and software

· Security + CE Required

Security Requirements:

Must possess an active TS/SCI to be considered

Preferred Skills:

· CCENT or CCNA preferred

· Knowledge of and network administration experience of the following operating systems:

o Linux/Unix, Windows, or Linux/Unix with a knowledge of Windows

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor s degree in (Computer Science, Math or Engineering) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
