ManTech Configuration and Technical Documentation Engineer in Hanover, Maryland

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Configuration and Technical Documentation Engineer to join our team in the Hanover, MD area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Defines, documents and develops "as is" configuration standards for Information Technology (IT) Refresh and Reset Program in accordance with contractual requirements. Reviews and evaluates complex configuration issues, documents the status and implements corrective action and creates drawings and documentation. Interfaces with customers, various locations and vendors, to resolve quality problems and provide information. Participates in and may lead audits and establish continuous improvement. May provide work leadership, training across departments for other team members. Will travel to regional sites to review and document status of equipment and architecture.

Ensures that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user s requirements.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in technical related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor s degree.​

Five + years of Quality Configuration Management Documentation and Engineering Support in Information Technology experience ensuring client and end user experience meets requirements.

Experience reviewing and evaluating complex configuration issues, documenting the status and implementing corrective action. Capable of creating drawings and documentation.

Experience documenting configuration status requirements and leave behind material creation.

Expertise providing strong written and verbal communication.

Security Requirements:

Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI within 5 years to be considered and must obtain and maintain a polygraph. Candidates with fully adjudicated polygraphs will be given first preference.

Requires Bachelor s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
