Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Database Admin(s), in the Hanover, MD area, with strong Customer relationships.

Position Responsibilities:

•Develop and maintain system documentation (design diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack el s, etc.)

•Monitor and maintain operational and development environments for multiple products

•System design/architecture

•Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution with system infrastructure – servers, storage, firewalls, switches, etc.

•Provide system administration support for Windows servers, CISCO and HP hardware

•Resolve issues of interoperability between products and other associated programs or systems

•Research new technologies and integrate with other projects

•Perform product deployments to various environments

•Plan/provide scope of work, evaluate, design, and coordinate installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware elements

•Work well independently and in team environment

•Travel and perform duties associated with machine room sites

•Follow standard practices and SOPs

Position Requirements:

•Knowledge of Linux/Unix, build, update, install software and development of bash/sh scripts

•Basic knowledge of a scripting language (vbscript, powershell) for use in automation of tasks

•Knowledge of VMware V6 (able to install/manage/update ESXi, Vcenter, virtual machines, template creation/automation)

•Knowledge of Cisco hardware (Manage firewalls, switches, basic knowledge of how to work with/update os & firmware)

•Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008 and above (build, manage/install applications, troubleshoot)

•Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Office, Active Directory, Wsus)

•Ability to create documentation of processes and application installation

•Strong problem solving skills

•System design/architecture

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor s degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
