"In addition to meeting the labor category requirements for which the candidate is submitted, candidates are also required to meet the following:

Required Skills:

• 1 or more years experience as a Linux administrator as a Power User

• Some experience with programming, preferably Ruby

• High level of self motivation and independent learning

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Git

• Experience integrating FOSS applications into Linux systems

• Recognition of basic Federal compliance policies (STIG, NIST 800-53, etc...)

• Experience with a system automation language

• Independent management of central network services

Description:

• The candidate will be a part of a dynamic team that integrates new technologies into an automated environment following Federal regulations.

• Team members are expected to write configuration code, write tests in RSpec-based languages, and run those tests independently and through common Continuous Integration systems.

• This position requires a high level of self motivation and a willingness to rapidly incorporate new ideas and technologies in a highly collaborative environment."

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.
