ManTech Systems Analyst in Herndon, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Systems Analyst to work for our corporate IT department in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting enterprise applications and provide front-line primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to business applications, software, and client peripherals. The Systems Analyst will also be responsible for responding to, documenting, and resolving service tickets in a timely manner according to SLA. The System Analyst must have excellent problem solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate, and resolve complex problem situations, or when appropriate, escalate or route them to appropriate support group and supervisor.

The Systems Analyst will also perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems, and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention. This position will support multiple business applications and databases and may require independent work, sharing information and assisting others with work orders.

Position Requirements:

  • Requires Bachelor s degree and 2+ years of related support analyst related experience

  • Working technical experience with configuring and supporting databases and business enterprise applications in production environment.

  • Experience of complex issues with proper troubleshooting skill is required.

  • Understanding of full development life cycle, version control tools, experience with SQL server and Oracle databases is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of the organization s goals and objectives.

  • Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

  • Hands-on database SQL support and troubleshooting experience.

  • Experience with supporting enterprise application like STAT, TOAD, ImageNow, or Microsoft.

  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and windows patches.

  • Strong understanding of web technologies

Security Requirements:

This position requires US citizenship because of its proximity to systems that have access to classified information and the direct work with federal customers. Selected individuals will eventually be required to obtain a security clearance.
