ManTech Program/Acquisition Management Analyst, Senior in Lexington Park, Maryland

Job Scope:

ManTech is actively seeking talented professionals eager to “secure the future supporting mission critical programs and solving some of the toughest problems critical to our great Nation's security. We need an experienced Senior Program / Acquisition Management Analyst and cross-functional team member who will work diligently alongside Technical Professionals supporting:

  • The Next Generation Jammer and related efforts.

  • Program strategy, acquisition analysis, systems engineering, financial management, and communications.

  • Program planning, budgeting, and execution management, including metrics analysis and reporting.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the leadership team with program strategy, acquisition analysis, systems engineering, financial management, and communications.

  • Program planning, budgeting, and execution management, including metrics analysis and reporting.

  • Develop and coordinate program Acquisition Strategy and supporting documentation applying most relevant DoD and USN guidance.

  • Collaborate with customer to develop, maintain, and analyze an integrated master schedule in support of program management, systems engineering, and test & evaluation activities.

  • Support development of life-cycle cost estimates. Apply relevant research of economic and fiscal issues.

  • Coordinate related communications, briefs, requests for information, etc. in support of program leadership.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience performing, at a minimum, the mission sets outlined in Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Experience analyzing program requirements, status, budget and schedules.

  • Have performed program management, technical, or business case analysis.

  • Experience participating as a member of and/or supporting specified project teams and business meetings.

  • Experience collecting, completing, organizing and interpreting technical data and financial information relating to acquisition programs.

  • Demonstrated ability with tracking program/project status and schedules and applying policy and procedure to financial planning.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 10-15 years applicable experience with DoD program planning and budgeting process, including understanding of DoD 5000.01 and associated regulatory and statutory requirements

  • Experience with pre-MDAP/rapid acquisition programs for weapons systems; specifically experience and technical knowledge of system of systems effects chains.

  • Experience with cost estimating methodologies and affordability analyses utilizing Better Buying Power principles

  • Understanding of Acquisition, Systems Engineering, Test, and Logistics processes

  • DAWIA Level III or PMP certification



- Education:

o Required: BS or BA in engineering, mathematics, operations research, physics, computer science, or a related scientific discipline.

o Desired: Master's Degree from an accredited university in Operations Research, Computer Science, or Mathematics

  • Qualifications Desired:

o DAWIA Level III or PMP certification

  • Desired: Prior military experience.
