ManTech Senior Test Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Responsibilities

  • Provide test engineering support

  • Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how to support user requirements for complex to highly complex software and hardware applications

  • Must be able to operate successfully in a dynamic environment with minimal direction/supervision

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies

  • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to meet system requirements

  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products

  • Interface with customers and vendors to resolve test problems that cause test failures

  • Design and develop test standards

  • Review and evaluate complex test specifications, test results, and test trends and implement corrective actions

  • Provide feedback on test trends, returns, and vendor performance

  • Write, implement, and report status for system test cases

  • Analyze test cases and provide progress reports

  • Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development

  • Analyze user requirements, design tests, and select test tools

  • Participate in all phases of the system/software development lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field

  • 15 years application, system and network testing experience

  • 2-3 years telecommunication and networking experience

  • DoD 8570 IAT-II level certification

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance

  • Understand testing in virtual environments

  • Strong math and statistics skills is a must
