Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Configuration Managment Specialist, in the Quantico, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

FSS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customer s success is driving our growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Defines and develops configuration management standards for Information Technology (IT) Refresh and Reset Program in accordance with contractual requirements. Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. Plans and implements methods to improve response. Participates in special studies. Performs data management tasks as required by contract.

Ensures that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user s requirements.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in technical related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor s degree.

Five + years of Configuration Management Experience in Information Technology environment ensuring client and end user experience meets requirements.

Expertise with Configuration Management Tools for Software and Hardware. Experience with some of the following:

VSS – Visual source safe, CVS- Concurrent version system, Rational Clear Case, SVN- Subversion, Razor or SourceAnywhere

Experience documenting software, hardware requirements and leave behind material creation of redline drawings etc..

Expertise providing strong written and verbal communication.

Security Requirements:

Must possess an active TS clearance.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
