ManTech CDM Configuration Manager in Reston, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Configuration Manager to join our team in the Reston VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

The Configuration Manager provides oversight and mentoring for requirements analysts, change request specialists, and configuration analysis for ManTech s CDM organization. This position plays an integral role in successfully transitioning cybersecurity tools and applications from design through testing and into operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading and mentoring a team of change and requirements professionals

• Providing recommendations and suggestions on the best ways to identify and track configuration changes and their impacts.

• Build and maintain direct relationships across ManTech s project teams supporting CDM and Agency POCs.

• Understanding of the importance of properly creating and maintaining change request trackers.

Position Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree preferred

• ITIL v3 foundations or similar preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading change activities on IT implementations across government

• Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity industry and government IT contracts

• Strong understand of industry best practices specifically related to change requests, configuration management

• Ability to oversee change control boards (CCB) and configuration management databases (CMDB), or lead CCBs and create CMDBs when they are not present.

• Experience balancing the demands of multiple clients simultaneously

• Exceptional customer focus and bias for action

• Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environments
