Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Incident Response Analyst, in the Rockville, MD area, with strong Customer relationships. The FSS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ideal candidates will be experienced with leading a team of experts in computer forensics and intrusion analysis.

  • Ideal candidates will have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced and dynamic environment for high impact, mission-critical network security operations.

  • In addition with managing the team the ideal candidate provides computer forensic and intrusion analyst support to high technology investigations in the form of computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems.

  • Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption.

  • Assists in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating and analyzing computer network intrusions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related academic disciplines of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a Cyber Operations/Response environment with Bachelor's degree

  • Demonstrated Cyber Incident Response/Forensics/Vulnerability analysis background

  • Experience with the following: EnCase, FTK, Tanium, Windows Server 7/Server 2008+, Network Devices, DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP/IP, Exploitation Techniques, willingness to travel, and management experience preferred

Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Position (Required); GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (CGIH), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Cisco Certified Network Analyst (CCNA), and/or ISC2 recognized professional certifications (Preferred)

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience. Minimum of two years experience in technology/tools specific to the target platforms.
