ManTech CTCEU Statistical Data Analyst in Vienna, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a Statistical

Data Analyst who will be responsible for supporting CTCEU tasks for the Visa

Lifecycle Vetting Initiative.

Duties :

  1. Perform complex business analysis

and process improvement duties.

  1. Perform functional and operational

analysis for a broad range of business management or technical disciplines.

  1. Maintain liaison with senior staff.

  2. Maintain work standards, review

work, support resolution of discrepancies, and assure the adherence to

policies, purposes, and goals of the organization.

  1. Use specialized knowledge in

exercising Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, and reliability and

maintainability to control cost, design and production, and minimize life

cycle cost.

  1. Use structured analysis, design

methodologies and tools, and may supervise personnel.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience supporting U. S. Immigration

and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI),

National Security Investigations Division (NSID), other law enforcement or

homeland security missions

  1. Four (4) or more years of related

experience in analysis of bulk data sets to include entry and extraction of

target data, statistical analyses, and reporting

  1. Must possess a core understanding

and experience in navigating and writing queries for MongoDB and Microsoft

Access environment.

  1. Experience in MongoDB with a strong

understanding of coding principles methodologies and best practices

  1. Understanding of the

counterterrorism strategy of the United States.

  1. Must have excellent writing,

listening, and analytical skills.

Skills :

  1. Ability to manipulate data within

excel

  1. Quals- Strong SQL, SPPS and excel

knowledge

  1. Strong back end database

manipulation experience

  1. Ability to work with structured and

unstructured date

  1. -Ability to cleanup raw data

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or equivalent. 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience using R, Matlab, Python Scikit-learn or other statistical modeling packages, with a focus on machine learning; experience with NLP a plus. Previous experience developing production systems for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data in Java, Python or similar technology stack. Previous experience with Hadoop technology stack (Map reduce, HIVE/PIG, etc). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong team player, capable of working collaboratively in customer teams.
