ManTech DASNET Systems Technical Support in Afghanistan

Overview

The selected candidate provides DasNet technical support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination for COMRS end-user devices (i.e. PC, Voice, VTC, etc.) to enable Key Leader Engagement (KLE) and collaboration. Maintains timely customer service which allows for continuous operations without degradation.

Task/Requirement

Employee is to work 70 hours a week, Monday - Saturday, and shall be available (on-call) 24/7 for the

following tasks and requirements:

  • Perform system configuration and troubleshooting as directed by the DasNet Network Operations Center (NOC). Shall report all technical issues to the DasNet NOC and JNOSC-A for resolution and situational awareness (SA). Shall maintain capability to travel to remote sites following USFOR-A and JNOSC-A movement control and force protection procedures.

  • Shall provide remote support to sites via remote management software and networks. Without impacting DasNet support, shall assist users in the initial setup and troubleshooting of workstations, printers, audio visual equipment, other auxiliary devices, and installation of software across three domains and the processing and tracking of related Remedy tickets (or follow on network trouble ticket systems).

  • Shall troubleshoot and resolve user trouble tickets with local Direct Signal Support Teams (DSST) and Signal units.

Qualifications

Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and three to four years of related experience. Technical training in computer science, or related field preferred.
